Advantages of Live Mode
- Library size is virtually unlimited
- No commercials are inserted into your stream
- 3rd party software can be used to rotate tracks and take online requests
- Tracks can be processed in real-time (e.g. gap killing, crossfading)
Disadvantages of Live Mode
- Fewer simultaneous listeners allowed than in basic mode for same broadcasting package
- Requires a fast, reliable upstream interent connection
- Less reliable than basic mode
